STAINLESS
the blue balloon dog
nearly floats
its nose
the part tied off
its tail the not quite
full of air end butt
ethereral as mylar
where it stands
a playful bit
of sculpture
high and round
don’t try to puncture
it may growl like steel
or peel its shiny coat
not disappear
